Boot Kicker Dance Class for Beginners

Calendar Aug 29, 2018 at 6:30 pm, runs for 7 weeks

This is a seven week session for the beginner dancer.  In this class a student will learn approximately 85% of all steps needed for any type of dance.  Although this beginner class is centered around Country Music and a Western, Cowboy/Cowgirl theme, most of the dances taught can be danced to any kind of music. Completion of this class is required to enter the Intermediate Level Class.  Although some couple dances are taught, you do not need a partner.  It is best to wear smooth-soled, low heel shoes or boots.  

Boot Kicker Dance Class Intermediate

This seven week session is for the intermediate level dancer.   This level is sometimes called "Improver" or Advanced Beginner".  Class is designed to prepare the dancer for the more acomplicated movements of he Advance level classes.  It covers the basics of different styles of dance such as the Mambo and Swing.  You will also learn many copule and line dances.  A partner is not required.  

Crochet for Beginners & Intermediate

Beginner-Learn basic crochet stitches and how to read a basic pattern.  There will be a $12 supply fee to be paid to the instructor at the first class which covers the cost of the yarn (both cotton and acrylic), a crochet hook, tote bag, stitch samples, and a variety of patterns.  

Intermediate-Refresh skills, receive assistance with patterns, stitches, or techniques.  Feel free to bring a project from home.  If you would like to contact the instructor prior to class to discuss your needs, call 304-725-3172 before 7 pm

Using essential oils can be a safe, natural option to protect and maintain the health of you and your family.  Join us as we:

* Learn how to use essential oils safely and effectively. 

*Sample and experience the potency and effectiveness of essential oils.

*Create essential oil blends to take home and use to receive the benefits they offer. 

"Essential Oil Foundations":  Although using essential oils is very simple, it can easily be a little overwhelming for beginners.  We will learn what essential oils are, where they come from, and how to use them effectively and safely. Instructional period will be followed by a hands on portion where we will make a essential oils blend to take home where you can use and enjoy their benefits: Energy & Focus; Muscle Blend; Hand Sanitizer; and Digestive Support 

"Essential Oils For Immune Support".  Focus will be on how to best support our immune system for the challenging flu season in fall and winter.  Instruction will be followed by hands on portion where the following blends will be made by participants:  Comforting Throat Spray; Respiratory Support; Tummy Support; and Head Relief. 

This class allows for one make and take blending of oils for your needs.  For any additional bottle blend is $5.00 paid to the instructor.    

Guitar

This class will help you take the first couple of steps.  Playing guitar is a matter of fretting strings with one hand and making rhythm with the other.  In this class you will learn five to ten chords which is enough to play hundreds of songs.  Bring your own guitar, music will be provided.  

 

Knit/Crochet Project, Complete Your Own

Calendar Oct 4, 2018 at 12 pm, runs for 4 weeks

This class is designed for students who know the basic knit or crochet stitches and would like to learn new techniques, need help in understanding a pattern or completing a project.  Instructor will provide individualized attention while you refresh skills or learn new ones.  If you would like to learn either Knit or Crochet and the class schedules for those classes do not work for you, call the instructor (304-725-3172) to discuss your needs.  Assorted patterns will be available.  Please bring a project to work on.
